About Us:

Attic Brew Co. is one of the leading independent breweries in the UK. Based in Birmingham, we produce great quality, approachable beers for local people. 

Born originally from a desire to see locally brewed beer become more readily available to the people of Birmingham, our mission is to be the best loved brewery in the region, and we think we’re well on the way!

Whilst we're best known for our delicious hop-forward pale ales (just like our best selling beer, Intuition) and hazy IPAs, we're passionate about brewing a wide range of styles to make sure everyone has a chance to enjoy our beer.

Our production has grown by more than ten times since opening, and with that our amazing team has grown too. Our state-of-the-art brewery and experienced team of brewers are capable of producing thousands of litres of the highest quality craft beer each week.

We operate two popular Birmingham bars, our flagship taproom in Stirchley and The Barrel Store bar and barrel-ageing facility in The Jewellery Quarter.

About the Role:

We’re looking for an upbeat Sales Representative to join our growing sales team, with the exciting task to help drive sales growth, build brand awareness and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers within their territory. 

Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful candidate will spend much of their time out and about, finding new business, and making new valuable connections in the Birmingham and the Midlands trade scene.

This is a full-time role (40 hrs per week, including a 30 min paid break), working Monday to Friday (occasional weekend work may be needed on an exceptional basis).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with retailer, and key accounts within the assigned territory, ensuring they continue to place regular orders 
  • Help to develop and execute sales strategies and promotional campaigns to increase brand visibility and product placement
  • Conduct product tastings, brewery events, and educational sessions to engage customers and drive sales
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for growth
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to management to evaluate performance and inform decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Production, and Logistics to ensure seamless execution of sales initiative

Person Specification:

Whilst there are no formal qualifications or experience required for this role, we’re looking for an individual who:

  • Has a genuine passion for beer and a desire to share that with others
  • Is self motivated and results driven
  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn
  • Can work independently and as a part of a team
  • Is able to commute to Birmingham
  • Has the flexibility to work evenings and weekends if the need arises
  • Exhibits great communication skills 
  • Can manage their time effectively, prioritising where required
  • Enjoys engaging with communities
  • Holds a valid driver's licence with a clean driving record, has access to their own vehicle and can travel within the allocated sales territory as required
